For the past 6 years, we have put on this event free of charge. There have been relay teams, solo participants, kayakers, people completing only portions of the course, and volunteers just wanting to take part in this very down-home, grass roots event. This year there will again be no entry fee. You must be self-supported, meaning having your own crew, making aid drops the day before, or otherwise pre-arranging your hydration, nutrition and medical (!?) needs. I have usually had small amonuts of aid along the run course, at the Jesusita / Tunnel intersect. There has always been strong coffee, bagels and fruit at the paddle to run transition.
